20 Millennial Pink Beauty Products You Can Actually Use
With changing seasons, certain colors come and go. But millennial pink is one of those Starburst-like shades that anyone born between 1982 and 2004 simply can’t get enough of.
The pastel, bubblegum, or even iridescent hue (you know millennials can’t make up their minds) is loved so much that many brands have taken a cue from Glossier’s millennial pink aesthetic and made its packaging reflective of the trendy color.
In April, Unilever and Suave unveiled a campaign and social experiment launching a phony product called Evaus (simply Suave spelled backward), which examined whether millennials purchased products based on a prestige price tag or if the packaging (in this case, millennial pink) reinforced that “it’s what’s inside the bottle that really counts.”
Long story short, everyone who tested out the products was automatically sold, supporting the brand’s initial research “that not only are millennials attracted to the actual color, but they are also drawn to simple, clean packaging.” But were shocked once they found out it was really Suave all along. According to findings from a 2016 Suave Women’s Survey, “7 in 10 women feel that premium or higher-priced brands and products are more trustworthy than value or lower-priced brands and products.” Meanwhile, “92 percent of millennial women agree that they would buy a lower-priced hair care product as long as quality was not sacrificed.”
The proof is in the pudding, and millennials love pretty-in-pink products. Keep reading to see 20 products that will have you falling head over heels — no matter what age you are — for millennial pink. Besides, it’s just the cool thing to do.
