First-Time Hairstylist Cara Delevingne Gave a Woman a Crazy Buzz on ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live!’
If acting doesn’t work out for Cara Delevingne, she definitely shouldn’t try becoming a hairstylist. Ahead of Comic-Con, the Suicide Squad star made an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! and was asked to give a pedestrian a haircut — and the results were, well, interesting.
First up was Kimmel’s sidekick Guillermo — not a licensed “barbertologist” — who gave Tyler, a Michigan man working in the cannabis industry, an uneven buzz. Obviously, since the first brave participant looked so good, the late-night host called on Wednesday’s guest, Delevingne, to do some damage too.
A young woman named Grace, who’s from Florida and loves to step outside her comfort zone, was willing to be Delevingne’s first client. “I think I was gonna do it with my eyes closed; might be fun,” the actress admitted. The final result? Grace had a shaved head with just a small patch of hair, which Delevingne styled into lots of little braids.
While the client (or, shall I say, victim) claimed to “love it,” it didn’t look nearly as good as Delevingne’s own hair, which was slicked back with product and bobby pins and done by stylist Jen Atkin. Atkin, who also works with Chrissy Teigen and the Kardashians, was watching the disaster from behind the camera, probably shaking her head at her client’s ambitious — and rather tragic — vision.
This isn’t the first time that Delevingne has done something this risky. Remember when she tattooed her Suicide Squad co-star Margot Robbie’s foot? Delevingne should probably stay away from cosmetology in general.
