This Pic of Chris Pratt Showing His Son How to Dress Up Gets All the Dad Awards

Chris Pratt received his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame Friday, but before his main event his son, Jack, got a tie-tying lesson.

His wife, Anna Faris, snapped this photo, and the image of father and son has the Internet swooning. “I can’t. Time of death 1219 Cause: too much cuteness” tweets @ItsCeciB in response to the photo. It’s since been retweeted more than a thousand times.

Once the family was dressed to the nines, they hit the Hollywood Walk of Fame, where Chris accepted his star. Alongside him were the cast and director of the upcoming Marvel blockbuster Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 (out May 5).

“I’m a man of faith and I believe that God works in mysterious ways and gives us signs and gifts in life — and those gifts oftentimes come in the form of people,” Pratt told the crowd. “So I’ll just spend the rest of my time expressing gratitude for the people in my life who are gifts.”

Faris had equally kind words for Pratt, saying, “I get to spend every day with this wonderful man … I know that if our circumstances were different and we weren’t as fortunate to be standing here and living our Hollywood life, we would be happy in the woods together, I think.”

Pratt of course didn’t forget to mention Jack, who was born prematurely and with health issues, in his speech, saying to Faris, “You gave me the greatest star in the galaxy in my little boy — I love him and I love you.”

Pratt, however, isn’t quite always so silver-tongued. He’s catching flak for saying in a recent interview with Men’s Fitness that blue-collar America is underrepresented in Hollywood.

“I don’t see personal stories that necessarily resonate with me, because they’re not my stories, I think there’s room for me to tell mine, and probably an audience that would be hungry for them. The voice of the average, blue-collar American isn’t necessarily represented in Hollywood.”

After it was pointed out that Hollywood pretty regularly turns out big films for blue-collar folks — Manchester by the Sea and Sully come to mind — Pratt dialed back his comments. “That was actually a pretty stupid thing to say. I’ll own that. There’s a ton of movies about blue collar America,” he tweeted.

In the meantime, all gaffes aside, let’s congratulate Pratt on his career and, most of all, his happy family.
