Sia Without Her Wig at Academy Awards Screening

Australian pop star Sia left her trademark wig at home on Sunday at the 23rd Annual Elton John AIDS Foundation Academy Awards screening party in Los Angeles. The singer performed at the 2015 Grammys facing the wall with a giant blonde wig and was on the cover of Billboard in 2013 wearing a paper bag. She shared her "Anti-Fame Manifesto" with Billboard, likening fame to a mother-in-law who never stops criticizing you. She’s mentioned before that her giant wig, which hides her eyes, is her way of avoiding the fame she’s been gaining, but off the red carpet and off-stage, Sia appears to be more open about going out without her accouterments.

Sunday night, she rocked a massive top-notch topknot—now, we know her real hair is platinum too—and crimson lipstick. She may shy away from the spotlight in her performances these days, but she definitely still knows how to steal the show in red lips.
