Internet Erupts After Geraldo Rivera Posts Semi-Nude Selfie
Well here's something you don't see every day: Geraldo Rivera, in nothing more than a very low-slung towel, showing off his toned bod in a bathroom mirror.
"70 is the new 50," he tweeted early Sunday along with this semi-nude selfie, adding in parentheses, "Erica and family are going to be so pissed...but at my age..." referring to his 38-year-old fifth wife.
There was quite a reaction to the "Geraldo At Large" host's online overshare, which felt more Kim Kardashian than newsman (and a senior citizen newsman at that!), prompting him to delete the snapshot late Sunday night.
"Note to self: no tweeting after 1am," he sheepishly wrote after removing the pic.
Maybe a slow weekend news day was to blame or maybe it was just seeing so darn much of Rivera — in his rose-tinted eyeglasses no less — that the photo spread like fire across the Internet (with more than 1,000 retweets by noon on Sunday) ... and so did the jokes!
