Robert De Niro Proudly Shows Off Daughter Drena and Wife Grace on the Red Carpet
Two dates are better than one!
Robert De Niro brought along his daughter, Drena, and wife, Grace Hightower, 59, to the Waldorf Astoria hotel in New York City on Tuesday night, where he was honored by the Friars Club.
The 71-year-old Silver Linings Playbook actor was presented with the Foundation's highest honor, the Entertainment Icon Award. De Niro dedicated his achievement to his good friend and Awakenings co-star, Robin Williams, who passed away in August.
While De Niro gets in plenty of family time behind closed doors, this is one of the first red carpets he and Drena, 43, have walked together in years. Although they were photographed at a party in June — along with Hightower — the father-daughter duo hasn't posed on a carpet together since 2002 when she stepped out for the Showtime premiere.

De Niro married his first wife, Diahnne Abbott, in 1976 and adopted her daughter Drena when she was 5 years old. They divorced 12 years later, and the Oscar winner married Hightower in 1997. Altogether, the actor has six children.
In fact, Drena became a big sister again at the age of 40 when De Niro and Hightower welcomed a baby girl, Helen Grace, via surrogate in 2011. Robert also has four grandchildren, one from his actress-producer daughter.
Additional guests in attendance at Tuesday's event included De Niro's Casino co-star Sharon Stone, Christopher Walken, Orlando Bloom, Kit Harrington, Joel McHale, Lee Daniels, Edward Norton, and Kenan Thompson.
