Celebrities were seriously excited about the eclipse
It’s not just your Facebook friends. It seemed the whole country — including a lot of Hollywood stars — was keyed up about the solar eclipse, which crossed the United States from coast to coast on Monday.
They had their glasses ready. They had their themed snacks. They had Bonnie Tyler fever (and jokes!). Let’s see which stars obsessed over the astronomical event.

Nikki Reed came out of her month-long, post-baby social media hiatus to share a shot of Ian Somerhalder wearing several pairs of shades while looking up at the sky. “Honey you sure you can see through those?!” she wrote. “The only way to watch the solar eclipse brought to you by my husband, inventor of all things practical.” We hope at least one pair had the special frames, as we’ve learned that regular shades won’t prevent eye damage.
