Here’s What Pink Thought About Lady Gaga’s Aerial-tastic Super Bowl Halftime Show
Pink knows what we’re all thinking that she’s thinking about Lady Gaga’s halftime performance at the Super Bowl, and, well, she’s not.
The 37-year-old singer posted a message on social media on Monday shutting down the idea that she’s upset with Gaga, 30, for using aerial acrobatics during the big show. Pink has become known for performing her own aerial routines since she wowed the audience at the 2010 Grammys.
“For the record: Let’s squash this before it even has a chance to be a thing,” Pink shared on social media. “Lady Gaga killed it yesterday. Her voice was powerful and beautiful, her outfits were on point, choreography stellar, her heart was in it and she sang about love and inclusiveness, all in front of millions and millions of people. Let’s celebrate a woman who has the guts to jump off a roof and stand up there in the first place. Who cares if I flew first? Cause I didn’t! Cirque and Peter Pan [have] been in the air for years!”

Pink ended her message on a political note.
“Now can we get back to the controversy? The one where our so called leader is stripping our humanity away minute by minute.”

Pink — née Alecia Moore — wasn’t just being paranoid. People were already buzzing about a Gaga-Pink feud before Sunday’s show ended.

@Pink Was Lady Gaga taking aerial lessons from you? She did a great job at Super Bowl but can't match your mad skills. Come back soon!

Some Pink fans suggested the pop star should perform at the 2018 Super Bowl, which is a pretty awesome idea. Perhaps Lady Gaga could be her special guest…
