Mariah Carey and Bubble Baths: A Love Story

There are few things in this world that Mariah Carey loves more than diamonds, lingerie, recessed lighting, Jack Russell terriers, champagne, and herself, but one of them has to be bubble baths.

Our favorite diva, 46, overshared some new photos of herself taking a bubble bath early Friday morning. Besides a lot of makeup (those lash extensions though!), she was wearing nothing but diamonds:

Shout-out to those bubbles. They worked hard during their brief existence.

Say what you will about Mimi (and we know y’all do), but she really hasn’t changed much over the years. Way back in 2002, when she shot her infamous Cribs episode, the “Dream Lover” singer climbed into the bathtub — in a negligee — during the episode (see 5:37 mark). She later also showed off her shower but said she had used it only once.

Just three years later, she soaked it all in — with water and rose petals — in her “Shake It Off” video.

This isn’t the first time she’s shared photos of herself bathing on social media though. On Valentine’s Day in 2013, when she was still celebrating with Nick Cannon, she shared her soak with the world. Between the monogrammed towel and candles, this picture gives us serious #bathroomenvy:

While she didn’t share a photo with Nick, she posted a second shot with her dog Jill E. Beans, who jumped into the tub with her. (We’re sure the pooch is used to high-level pampering.)

This is the photo she shared the next year on V-Day. She subbed bubbles for balloons and added a candy-heart bra top:

Her best public tub trip though was one from earlier this year. She was interviewed by Jimmy Kimmel, while fully dressed, in the tub. Shirtless men brought her bubbly and fed her grapes, which is really how we imagine her daily bath to be.

With Mariah set to marry husband No. 3, James Packer, may we suggest that he have a lot of bubble bath handy (next to the flowers and champagne) to keep this diva happy.
