'1000-lb Sisters' Tammy Slaton Announces New Move Following Drastic Weight Loss
Tammy Slaton couldn't be more proud of her 500-pound weight loss journey, so she's paying it forward while also carving out a new career path for herself.
Over the weekend, the 38-year-old 1000-Lb Sisters star hinted she's ready to branch out from reality TV and expand her professional horizons. Still, she wants to continue inspiring people who may have been in a similar situation as she was before starting her drastic weight loss journey, which fans have followed across the five seasons of the TLC series.
"?? I’m thrilled to announce that I’m joining forces with @poprecoverysystems to help others transform their lives just like I did!" Tammy exclaimed in a joint post with the brand, which included a headshot of the media personality as well as her new title: corporate ambassador.
She also laid out her reasons for joining the team, admitting that this collaboration "is incredibly close to my heart," and she can fully vouch for the services POP offers, telling fans, "Having experienced their amazing support firsthand, I know they can do wonders for others too."
"Stay tuned for more exciting updates and fun stuff coming your way! ??," the Saturday, Aug. 24, upload teased before concluding with the hashtags: "#TransformationJourney," "#PopRecoverySystems" and "#HealthAndWellness."
It's been an exciting year for Tammy's career. Just last week, she shared another post revealing that she's been nominated for the Reality Queen award at the 11th Annual American Reality Television Awards, which will take place on Monday, Nov. 18, at Avalon Hollywood in Los Angeles, Calif.
Alongside a link to the official list of this year's nominees, Tammy reminded fans that they have until next Monday, Sept. 2, to cast their vote–something they can repeat daily.
