'1000-Lb Sisters' Tammy Slaton Reveals 'Head-to-Toe Loose Skin' After 500-Pound Weight Loss
Tammy Slaton has come a long way since TLC viewers first met her on 1000-Lb Sisters. Recently, the reality TV star announced that she lost 500 pounds—and in a new trailer, Tammy revealed a glimpse of her "head-to-toe loose skin" following her dramatic transformation.
On Tuesday, Sept. 10, TLC released a trailer for 1000-Lb Sisters Season 6, premiering on Oct. 8,
"Amy's got thinner and she's comfortable with her own body," Tammy, 38, said in the sneak peek. "But I don't feel that way because of my excess skin."
"You've got head-to-toe loose skin," her doctor warned. "It's going to take several operations and several healing phases."
In a confessional, Tammy admitted, "I'm afraid that I won't get approved for skin removal."
Elsewhere in the trailer, Tammy's sister, Amy, shared that she embarked on a journey of self-discovery following her divorce from Michael Halterman.
"Now that I'm single, I've been trying to find who Amy is," the mom of two declared. "And I'm actually finding out I've got more potential than I thought.
Tammy, Amy and some of their siblings also embarked on a trip to London. "In the past, family trips have torn us apart," their brother, Chris, said in a voiceover. "Hopefully, this trip will bring us closer together as a family."
However, based on the expletives and drama teased at the end of the trailer, the chances of that happening seem slim.
Catch the 1000-Lb Sisters Season 6 premiere on Tuesday, Oct. 8 at 9 p.m. ET on TLC and streaming on Max.
