"Kill Dany, but explain it better. The problem with GOT is the pacing stepped up too fast at the end to the point where things didn't feel like they made enough sense. The book to a season in the beginning of the series slowed everything down and gave George R.R. Martin more time to write. Then the writers sped it up too much. What they knew of the sixth book only took half the episodes, and the last book, which George guesses will be four times the size of the others, was covered in three episodes. They didn't bother trying to fill in most of the blanks."
