18 Dumb — And I Mean DUMB — Decisions Characters Made On TV Shows
We recently asked the BuzzFeed Community to tell us about a time when a TV character made a really, really dumb decision. Here are some of the choices that seriously pissed fans off:

1.First, when Luther locked Vanya in the bunker on The Umbrella Academy.
"I think the dumbest decision of all time award has to go to Luther for this. His siblings even tried to talk him out of it, but no, he didn't listen. And it literally ended up causing an apocalypse. It's hard to find worse consequences than that!"
2.When Emily dated Paige after Paige tried to drown her on Pretty Little Liars.
3.When the Liars didn't just go to the police the second A started terrorizing them on Pretty Little Liars.
"I know that A was holding secrets over their head, but things kept snowballing after that first message."
4.When Clarke shot and killed Bellamy over a sketchbook that she didn't even get back on The 100.
5.When Schmidt dated Cece and Elizabeth at the same time on New Girl.
"Yes, he’s supposed to be somewhat of an asshole, but this was WAY out of character. Even though he redeemed himself, it’ll always piss me off."
6.When Sabrina brought Tommy back from the dead even though Ambrose warned her it was a bad idea on Chilling Adventures of Sabrina.
"Sabrina pretty much never took anyone else’s advice throughout the entire show."
7.When Jaime left Brienne on Game of Thrones.
"His character arc was almost complete, and then the show completely botched it! I mean, all of Season 8 pissed me off, but this was incredibly frustrating."
8.When Carrie cheated on Aidan with Big on Sex and the City.
"It was so stupid. Like, just...why?"
9.When Rory stole a boat, dropped out of Yale, and stopped speaking to her mom on Gilmore Girls.
10.When Luke didn't tell Lorelai he had a secret daughter from a previous relationship on Gilmore Girls.
11.When Serena married Dan after finding out he was Gossip Girl on Gossip Girl.
"Why on earth would you marry the guy who single-handedly betrayed you and all of your friends? She should’ve ended up with Nate."
12.When Derek stopped in the middle of a busy street to pick up his cellphone, causing him to get hit by a truck and die on Grey's Anatomy.
"You'd think someone that is a literal brain expert would have used his own brain in that moment."
13.When Andy randomly ghosted on Erin and everyone for months to go sailing, and then quit his job to be a celebrity on The Office.
"The writers completely ruined his character. They made him some village idiot, and it was so strange and random."
14.When Lucas drunkenly got a tattoo on One Tree Hill.
"It was a really stupid idea."
15.When Toby leaked confidential information about the military space shuttle on The West Wing.
"I cannot imagine what would possess writers of a successful series to create an arc so wildly out of character."
16.When Scott trusted Theo over Stiles, his best friend, on Teen Wolf.
"I was so mad. Like, I know Theo was manipulative and everything, but that was a stupid move."
17.When Asher gave the team's playbook to their biggest rival because he was mad about being suspended from the homecoming game on All American.
I actually do love Asher's character and his development, but boy, was this DUMB! Pretty much everything Asher does during the homecoming episodes pissed me off.
18.And finally, literally every single thing Archie does on Riverdale.
