21 Savage Speaks Out After Release from Custody: ‘It was Definitely Targeted’
21 Savage is not holding back on ICE officials after being released from custody, calling them out for a “targeted” arrest.
The rapper sat down with Linsey Davis for an interview that aired Friday morning on “Good Morning America” to discuss his immigration situation.
Savage admits the arrest caught him by surprise, telling Davis, “I just saw guns and blue lights,” then said he heard the officials say, “we got Savage.” He also says he believes the arrest was “definitely targeted,” which makes sense since immigration officials have already said it was a “targeted operation.”
As we reported, Savage was released this week after an immigration hearing got him out on bond. He still faces possible deportation back to his birthplace in the U.K.
