All 25 ‘Abbott Elementary’ Emmy submissions: Quinta Brunson, Bradley Cooper, Tyler James Williams …

“Abbott Elementary” has finalized its plans for the 2024 Emmys, and all of your favorite teachers are hoping to get an A+ from awards voters. (See the complete list of Emmy submissions below.) Season 3 of ABC’s comedy series focused on Quinta Brunson‘s Janine Teagues leaving her second-graders behind as she began working for the school district. Also of note: 12-time Oscar nominee Bradley Cooper visited the elementary school as himself for a two-minute cameo, and he now contends as a guest star. In total, the program is vying for 25 Emmy Awards on the 2024 ballot.

All 14 episodes of “Abbott Elementary’s” third season aired this spring on the alphabet network. Other storylines included Janine and Gregory Eddie (Tyler James Williams) deciding to pause their romantic relationship, Jacob Hill (Chris Perfetti) breaking up with his boyfriend and moving in with Melissa Schemmenti (Lisa Ann Walter), and Janine believing her father could be Kevin Hart (he’s not).

In addition to Cooper, ABC has submitted four other guest stars on the Emmy ballot: Zack Fox as Tariq, Keegan-Michael Key as Superintendent Reynolds, Tatyana Ali as Crystal and Cree Summer as Rosalyn Inez. Meanwhile, Randall Einhorn is the sole director up for a nomination, while Brunson contends as the only writer.

“Abbott Elementary” is already a four-time Emmy winner for Brunson (lead actress in 2023 and writing in 2022), Sheryl Lee Ralph (supporting actress in 2022) and casting (2022). How many more statuettes will it take home this year?
