1. Extreme Makeover: Home Edition (2004-2012)
This reality series is a wholesome one. Extreme Makeover: Home Edition chooses a different family for each episode and has a team pitch in to redesign their home. The team, made up of designers and volunteers, have one week to turn the house into the family’s dream home. Hosted by Ty Pennington, everybody works hard to give the family a beautiful living space.

2. What Not to Wear (2003-2013)
Calling all fashionistas! This reality series features Stacy London and Clinton Kelly using their powers of fashion and style to fully rework a person’s wardrobe. Friends and family nominate someone who they believe needs fashion help who then receives a $5,000 budget for a new wardrobe — but only if they agree for Stacy and Clinton to throw out their current wardrobe and critique their appearance.

3. Say Yes to the Dress (2007-Present)
Bridezilla’s, their opinionated family members and gorgeous wedding dresses, sum up an episode of Say Yes to the Dress. Brides-to-be go to Kleinfeld Bridal in Manhattan, bringing their entire entourage of friends and family, in search of their perfect wedding gown. Bridal dress professionals work hard to please both the bride and her usually demanding family members.

4. Nanny 911 (2004-2009)
Uncontrollable children and exhausted parents are a tough combo. Good thing these expert childcare providers are on the case. 5. The Bachelor/The Bachelorette (2002/2003-Present)

Similarly, The Bachelorette, which was released in 2003, features a single woman dating multiple men on a search for true love. Unlike a lot of other reality shows, Survivor follows a group of people who inhabit an island and must compete against each other in a series of challenges.
