Actor Dylan Sprouse to serve as grand marshal of Indianapolis 500
Actor Dylan Sprouse will serve as grand marshal for the 2024 Indianapolis 500, organizers announced Friday.
Sprouse, who rose to fame as a 12-year-old for his performance opposite twin brother Cole in Disney Channel's "The Suite Life of Zack and Cody," will tell drivers to report to their cars as part of the pre-race ceremonies. He will also walk the Indy 500 red carpet.
The actor is currently promoting his upcoming dark comedy, "The Duel," which was partially filmed in Indiana during the fall of 2020. Various Indianapolis-area sites fill in for more exotic locales in the film, including Fountain Square's The Inferno Room as a San Diego bar and Carmel's Asherwood estate as a manor in Mexico.
