Adam Sandler pauses comedy set to help fan in need of medical assistance
Adam Sandler is making sure his fans are a-okay.
The Wedding Singer actor clicked pause on a comedy show in San Jose on Wednesday when a fan in the audience needed medical assistance.
A video captured by a fan on TikTok shows Sandler on stage, directing medical personnel to the audience member. "Let's take a few seconds, we'll just let these guys concentrate, alright? Love y'all," the comedian said.
Once the spectator received the attention he needed, Sandler sent his support. "We're all wishing you well there, youngster, feel better back there. Sorry about that," he said. "I hope everybody's good, everybody's alright. We'll get going, we'll start the show back up, alright?"
The comedian then prompted the audience to cheer for the fan in question. "Let's give a round of applause for that dude, hope he feels better," Sandler said as the crowd applauded. "Alright, back to the f---in' dumbness," he joked as he continued the show.
