Love You’s trailer features snippets of Sandler saying “I love you” from the stage in various ways. “You guys are the best. I love you,” he says in one moment. “I love you. I need you. Help me.”
Later, the performer appears to sum up his special for the crowd. “So anyways, I talk a lot, and then I sing, and we do a bunch of shit,” Sandler quips. “All right, here it goes.” The trailer later shows him playing guitar.
Netflix shared the footage to Instagram with the caption, “The comedy special we’ve been waiting for.”
Love You is a Happy Madison production of Central Picture. Serving as producers are Sandler, Josh Safdie, Ronald Bronstein, Eli Bush, Dan Bulla, Carter Hambley, Brian Robinson, Joseph Vecsey, Judit Maull, Eli Thomas and Perry Sachs. Executive producers include Barry Bernardi, Robert Digby and John Irwin.
This marks Sandler’s first comedy special since Adam Sandler: 100% Fresh, which Netflix released in October 2018. His more recent collaborations with the streamer include the features Spaceman, You Are So Not Invited to My Bat Mitzvah and Murder Mystery 2, in addition to the animated movie Leo.
Sandler traveled the country with his 25-city I Missed You comedy tour that kicked off last October.
