'Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.' Introduces New Inhuman, Yo-Yo

A new member of the team was introduced on Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Elena Rodriguez, a.k.a. “Yo-Yo,” although those who invested in the comics also know her as Slingshot, a core member of the Secret Warriors.

It didn’t take long to realize who she was since she was very nice to Mack (after knocking him out, and holding him hostage in her bathroom of course) and turned out to be stealing guns to protect her community instead of promoting violent acts. Yo-Yo quickly became one with the agents and worked side by side with Daisy after her cousin’s life was taken by the Colombian police.

After a quick introduction to the team, Yo-Yo was on her way back to Bogota, armed with a S.H.I.E.L.D. communication watch to stay in touch. Yo-Yo and Mack said their goodbyes and made amends for their rocky beginning. Hopefully, we’ll be seeing her again sooner rather than later, considering they basically dedicated the mid-season return to her debut.

Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. airs Tuesdays at 8pm on ABC.
