Akron natives The Black Keys set October concert at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse
Akron natives Dan Auerbach and Patrick Carney are returning home — for a night at least.
The Black Keys will play Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse Saturday, Oct. 12 in support of their upcoming album “Ohio Players,” which will hit various platforms April 5.
They'll be supported by openers The Head and The Heart.
Tickets go on sale to the public at 10 a.m. April 5 at rocketmortgagefieldhouse.com. American Express card members can purchase tickets at 10 a.m. April 2.

With the tour announcement and album release their schedule is filling up quickly. “Ohio Players” is their 12th studio album and is heavy on collaborations with some rock heavyweights, including Beck and Noel Gallagher. A recent promotion with the Cleveland Guardians featuring a limited-edition vinyl edition of the record sold out.
They are also the subject of a documentary that hold the featured 7:30 p.m., Friday slot at the Cleveland International Film Festival at the KeyBank State Theatre.
