Alexis Bellino Blames RHOC Backlash on the Edit: ‘What You’re Seeing Is Not Real’
Alexis Bellino was in for a rude awakening when she returned to Real Housewives of Orange County. Since she was dating, and is now engaged, to John Janssen, the cast has some thoughts. John previously dated RHOC star Shannon Beador, and is suing her for $75,000. Plus, Shannon is still dealing with the fallout from her DUI, including Ring camera footage that John has of that night. A frustrated Alexis is tired of Shannon trashing her man, so she hinted that the tapes could be released. And ever since, Alexis has been dealing with the blowback.
Alexis Bellino thinks that she is being shown “in a bad light”
Alexis sounded off in an Instagram post. “I just want to let everyone know that what you’re seeing in my career is not real. It’s not the truth,” Alexis wrote in the caption. “There has been so much left out intentionally to paint me in a bad light. It’s ok. I’ll take one for the team to get ratings for this business, but I will live in truth.”
She continued, “And I will bring the truth. Whether I have to do it here on my instagram page or if this career I chose decides to bring the truth out. Either way, it WILL come out.” And Alexis is planning to share her truth with the RHOC fans.
“Because what you’re seeing on your TV right now is NOT me. I love you all, and I do not hate you for hating me. Because I would hate me too if I were you,” Alexis stated. “But just hang tight, I’ll be speaking the truth after every episode of what has been left out intentionally to paint me as someone I don’t even know.” She added, “(Live recaps of the truth starting from episode 1 coming asap on my IG!!)” Wow!
Tamra Judge and Katie Ginella defended Alexis Bellino
However, Alexis isn’t the only person who thinks that she received a villain edit. “You know, I hate that right now on social media Alexis is getting attacked,” Katie Ginella previously said. “She is a sweet person to her core.”
Meanwhile, Tamra Judge also hinted that Alexis was getting an unfair edit. “I just wish the so many other things that we talked about and did were shown … and you could see a well-rounded Alexis, and where she’s coming from,” Tamra explained. “So, I’m hoping there’s going to be a little bit of a shift in things to come and you’ll see Alexis for the sweet girl that she is and not some villain because she’s not.”
Of course, Alexis expected her co-stars to defend her a bit more. And she made it clear that while she is bringing plenty of receipts to the reunion, that doesn’t include any video footage of Shannon. According to Alexis, neither she nor John plan to ever show those videos. Thank heavens!
Real Housewives of Orange County airs on Thursdays at 9/8c on Bravo.
