'Always love': John Travolta thanks fans for 'supporting' him in Instagram post
John Travolta, 66, took a moment on Thanksgiving to say thanks to his family, friends and followers on Instagram.
"I just wanted to take this moment to thank each and every one of you for supporting me in such an incredible way this year," Travolta said in a video posted to Instagram on Thursday.
"Happy Thanksgiving and always love," the "Grease" actor continued, with a slight smile in the self-facing clip.
Travolta received support from his followers in the comment section.
His daughter, Ella Travolta, 20, commented a series of heart emojis below the video.
And actor Kevin Connolly called Travolta "The Goat" — an oft-used shorthand for "the greatest of all time."
Donnie Wahlberg added "you are a kind soul."
Fans commented too, wishing Travolta a happy Thanksgiving and sending him "so much love."
It's not the first time Travolta has shared an emotional moment on Instagram this year.
Travolta's late wife, Kelly Preston, died at 57 after a battle with breast cancer earlier this year.
Travolta wrote a sentimental post on Instagram July 13, confirming that his wife of 28 years had died.
"It is with a very heavy heart that I inform you that my beautiful wife Kelly has lost her two-year battle with breast cancer," Travolta, 66, wrote. "She fought a courageous fight with the love and support of so many.
"Kelly’s love and life will always be remembered," Travolta wrote, saying he planned to take time off "to be there for my children who have lost their mother. So forgive me in advance if you don’t hear from us for a while. But please know that I will feel your outpouring of love in the weeks and months ahead as we heal."
He took a break from Instagram before returning in late August to share a short video of him dancing with Ella.
"My daughter @ella.travolta and I dancing in memory of momma," Travolta captioned the sweet video. "One of Kelly’s favorite things, dancing with me."
The couple had three children – daughter Ella, and sons Benjamin, 9, and Jett, who died at age 16 in January 2009 after having a seizure while the family was on vacation in the Bahamas.
