‘America’s Got Talent’ episode 14 recap: Which acts topped America’s vote in ‘Quarterfinals 3 Results’?

“America’s Got Talent” season 19 is more than halfway through the second stage of the competition.” In this round, 44 acts are divided into four groups for four weeks of performances, all in the hopes of advancing to The Finals. Series judges Simon Cowell, Sofia Vergara, Heidi Klum and Howie Mandel are on hand to hand out Golden Buzzers as well as compliments and complaints.

Quarterfinals 3, which aired live on NBC on August 20, saw Heidi single out Dee Dee Simon for the Golden Buzzer, which ensured her a spot in The Finals. Three of the other 10 acts will make the cut when America’s vote count is revealed on August 21. 8:13 p.m. – After the recap of last night’s performances, Terry brought Kelsey Jane and The Reklaws out to the stage to deliver the first set of results of the overnight vote. Between the two acts, it’s Kelsey that earned enough support to remain in the competition as part of the week’s top five.

8:18 p.m. – Next, Terry brought boy band Menudo and guitarist Maya Neelakantan forward. The act that was voted within the top five was Maya.

8:20 p.m. – The third act to remain in the competition came down to young singer Journeyy vs. Japanese dance crew Sabrina. America’s choice to place in the top five for the week was Journeyy, leaving only two spots left to fill.

8:28 p.m. – Next, Terry brought out Jelly Boy the Clown and comedian Golden Buzzer comedian Learnmore Jonasi to announce that between the two it was Learnmore that placed in the top five.

8:32 p.m. – With only magician Sam Huang and singer Reid Wilson left to hear of their fate, Terry announced that the last spot in the top five went to Reid.

8:37 p.m. – For this week’s special performance, former contestant Loren Allred joined Grammy winner Lauren Daigle for a duet mash-up for Lauren’s songs “Thank God I Do” and “You Say.”

8:49 p.m. – The top five returned to the stage for Terry’s announcement of which three acts placed at the top of the votes and will perform again in the semi-final. The first act to advance was Reid.

8:51 p.m. – The second act to make it in to the semi-final was Kelsey.

8:58 p.m. – The third and final act from this group to advance to the semi-final was Learnmore.
