A fixture of the New Orleans music scene for over two decades, The Iguanas' music is an infectious mix of America's musical heritage — Tejano and Conjunto sounds from the Texas/Mexico border region, as best exemplified by the accordion and bajo sexto, the American South's Blues, Jazz and New Orleans R&B, and the fiery passion of the music of the Caribbean and Mexico. Taking their cues from all of these influences and then some, The Iguanas redefine the notion of Americana, crossing cultures, styles, eras and even languages.

For fans of The Eagles who long for the live re-creation of some of the greatest hits of a generation, the Dark Desert Eagles are the Ultimate Tribute to The Eagles! Songs from the best-selling greatest hits album of all time “Eagles: Their Greatest Hits 1971-1975” along with hits from “Hotel California,” as well as several gems from Joe Walsh's solo career are masterfully re-created during a live show of the Dark Desert Eagles.

Ana Popovic is celebrating 20 years as a touring musician. The award-winning guitar player, singer and songwriter therefore releases "Live for LIVE," an exciting hour and a half CD and DVD demonstrating why she's proudly looking back at a career of thousands of shows worldwide. This high-energy concert showcases not only Popovic's mesmerizing guitar skills but also her fabulous band, successfully merging musical styles.
“Art Making Women” Fantasy & Realities

Joined together by Design, Imagination, Satire and Experience, eight women artists bring a collection of contemporary artworks to the Narrows Center working in and through a combination of materials including painting, drawing, mixed media and photography.
The Narrows Center for the Arts is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. The Narrows exhibits visual artwork of every medium in two art galleries and houses a 430-seat concert space showcasing international, national and local performers of various musical genres. Offering arts educational programming, local school tours, artist studio spaces and free festivals for the community, the Narrows presents an ever-growing access and fellowship in the arts.
