Andre Morgan, Kelvin Tong Have Faith in ‘Anna Waters’

HONG KONG — Veteran producer, Andre Morgan will executive produce “The Faith of Anna Waters,” a horror feature directed by Singapore’s Kelvin Tong.
The story sees a crime reporter from the U.S. travel to Asia to investigate the supernatural mysteries surrounding her sister’s death, which is officially classed as a suicide.
Production begins this month with “Mad Men”’s Elizabeth Rice and Matthew Settle (“Gossip Girl,” Band of Brothers”) in the lead roles.
Production is by Peter Poon, Leon Tong and Kat Goh through Tong’s Boku Films with Ruddy Morgan and Hong Kong’s Sun Entertainment Culture as executive producers. Other finance comes from Singapore’s Media Development Authority.
Sun Entertainment will handle distribution in Greater China and South East Asia, while LA-based Highland Film Group handles sales in the rest of the world.
Other cast includes Singapore’s Adrian Pang and Jaymee Ong, and Australian actors Colin Borgonon and Adina Herz.
The creative team includes Australian cinematographer Wade Muller, production designer Daniel Lim, costume designer Irin Lee and music composer Joe Ng.
