Angelina Jolie Goes Incognito in Trench, Jenna Ortega and Sigourney Weaver Break Out Blazers and More 2024 Venice Film Festival Arrivals

Wednesday marks the opening of the annual Venice Film Festival, but stars including Angelina Jolie, Jenna Ortega and Sigourney Weaver have already touched down in the Floating City. “Beetlejuice Beetlejuice,” “Joker: Folie à Deux” and “Babygirl” starring Nicole Kidman are among the films premiering at this year’s festival. Actress and Balenciaga spokesmodel Isabelle Huppert presides over the jury.

Angelina Jolie
Jolie put a summertime spin on the trenchcoat, selecting a short-sleeve silhouette. She layered her outerwear over a white top and black satin skirt. A pair of black leather slouch boots and oversize sunglasses completed her ensemble.
Jenna Ortega
Ortega embraced method dressing as she continues her promotional tour for “Beetlejuice Beetlejuice,” channeling Alec Baldwin’s Adam Maitland in a checkered Alessandra Rich blazer with peak lapels, khaki pleated shorts and a red top.
The “Wednesday” actress topped off her look with a black crossbody tote, hoop earrings and a pair of maroon Jimmy Choo platform loafers. Stylist Enrique Melendez dressed Ortega for the occasion.
Sigourney Weaver
Weaver evoked Venice’s iconic gondoliers in a black-and-white Chanel ensemble paired with a straw hat. Her look consisted of a double-breasted blazer, wide-leg pleated trousers and a button-up blouse. Her accessories included one of the French label’s quilted flap bags and a belt baring their trademark double C logo.
Izabel Goulart
Izabel Goulart wore a white round-neck crop top underneath a double-breasted blazer with satin lapels. The model added on black pants, cat-eye frames and gold earrings.
Tim Burton and Monica Bellucci
Tim Burton and Monica Bellucci continued the black-and-white theme, with the director selecting a blazer, button-up and skinny jeans in the same shade. He also accessorized with a pair of suede Creepers. Bellucci, meanwhile, selected a white Balmain suit featuring flared pleated trousers, as well as a sheer blouse. The actress’ accessories included a Jolie Madame purse — also by Balmain — and round sunglasses.
