'Fault in Our Stars' writers will adapt John Green's 'Looking for Alaska'

Key elements of the formula for making a John Green movie are staying the same as Paramount takes on his debut novel.

EW has confirmed that Scott Neustadter and Michael H. Weber will write the screenplay for Paramount’s adaptation of Looking for Alaska and that Temple Hill Entertainment will produce. Neustadter and Weber wrote the screenplays for the film versions of The Fault in Our Stars and the upcoming Paper Towns, and Temple Hill produced both films. The Hollywood Reporter first reported the news.

Green himself tweeted his approval.
