'Furious 7' meets Pixar's 'Cars' in new trailer mashup

The Dominic Toretto we know (and love) would never be caught dead owning a truck, but after watching a new trailer mashup of Furious 7 and Cars, he might change his mind.

In the trailer, IGN imagines what Furious 7 would’ve been like had it been made by Pixar. Spoiler: Dom looks a lot like Mater. And yes, not only do cars fall out of planes—Cars 2 did it first—but they even race up the Eiffel Tower. (Fingers crossed that somehow makes it into Furious 8 or F8 or whatever it will be called.)

The only thing that doesn’t perfectly line up is some of the car choices. For one thing, Tej would never be Luigi. He would obviously be Sarge. And Letty wouldn’t drive something so girly. Brian, however, fits in perfectly as Lightning McQueen. As for Dom, well, maybe Mater was the closest thing to American muscle?
