'Melrose Place' star Jamie Luner, 46, accused of past sexual misconduct with teen
Jamie Luner, who rose to fame in the 1990s on "Melrose Place," is accused of sexual misconduct with an underage teen. The alleged incident occurred in 1998, when she was 26 and the victim was 16, TMZ reports.
The man, now in his 30s, has filed a report with the Los Angeles Police Department claiming Luner performed oral sex on him. The circumstances around their relationship are unclear: At this time, it's not known whether he was in any way involved with "Melrose Place."
It is possible that the statute of limitations has run out -- if the act was consensual, California law requires it would have needed to be filed within one year.
Luner played Lexi Sterling on "Melrose Place" from 1997 to 1999, and she's continued to work steadily in Hollywood over the years with more recent roles in "Better Call Saul," "True Blood" and "Criminal Minds." She also starred on "All My Children" from 2009 until its 2011 finale.
Luner has not yet responded to the allegations.
