'Scorpion' enlists Kid Cudi, Method Man as rivals
Rappers Kid Cudi and Method Man have landed guest-starring roles on CBS’ new drama Scorpion, EW has learned exclusively.
Kid Cudi, whose TV credits include One Tree Hill and Brooklyn Nine-Nine, will play Temple, a brilliant musical prodigy and longtime recluse who has invented an algorithm that can generate “mathematically” perfect pop songs.
Meanwhile, Method Man (CSI, The Wire) will play Lucky the King, a hard core hip-hop manager with an intimidating, dismissive demeanor who meets with Temple, Walter (Elyes Gabel), Toby (Eddie Kaye Thomas) and Paige (Katharine McPhee) under the impression that team Scorpion are lawyers intent on suing him for the theft of Temple’s algorithm.
Scorpion airs Mondays at 9 p.m. on CBS.
