Baena shared the tough news on Instagram on March 27, posting a bunch of personal photos of himself with his nephew, Vicente, announcing that he died last week.

"It’s been a week since my nephew, Vicente, left us and it’s been the most difficult and confusing week of my family’s life," he began. "All I can think about is what a kind, funny, caring and smart kid he is and how much we all love him. We miss him so much and still can’t believe this is all real."

Baena went on, saying, "I can’t help but be frustrated, mad, confused and sad for this tragic event, but I also think about how we never truly know what weight a person carries or what battles they struggle with."

He ended with a message to people personally struggling, sharing his hope that they "may find the strength to be kind to yourself. To find the help that you need. To know that your life is worth living. To know that even if you may not feel it right now, know that you are loved."
