Arts council to unveil new strategic plan
Jan. 31—HIGH POINT — "A New Hue," a rebranding and strategic plan launch party for the High Point Arts Council, will be held Friday from 4 to 6 p.m. at Centennial Station Arts Center, 121 S. Centennial St.
The event is free and open to the public, and refreshments will be provided.
The family-friendly event will feature performances by several local arts organizations, including Activate Entertainment, High Point Ballet and High Point Community Theatre.
There will also be arts activities for people of all ages, led by participants from the arts council's Artful Business Cohort and the Pullman Poet Society. There will also be an "instrument petting zoo."
A highlight of the event will be the unveiling of the arts council's new strategic plan, Executive Director Alexandra Arpajian said.
"We are really proud of the work we have been doing with Stackhouse Management Solutions to build our new strategic plan and cannot think of a better way to celebrate our 62nd birthday than to show the community how their voice and input has shaped the new direction of their arts council," she said.
