Tamil star Sivakarthikeyan recently showcased his impeccable acting skills in his latest film, Ayalaan. The sci-fi action drama saw him in a new light, and fans are thrilled. Despite receiving mixed reactions from the audience, the film’s CGI was widely appreciated. Since the movie has been in theaters for over ten days now, details about its digital release are not yet available. However, a report claims the film will arrive on an OTT platform next month.

Directed by R. Ravikumar, KJR Studios, Phantom FX Studios, and Aadhi Brahma Productions produced Ayalaan. Rakul Preet Singh played the leading lady in the movie, while Sharad Kelkar portrayed the lead antagonist. Reportedly, it took the makers years to make the film, especially for its CGI, leading to several delays in the final touch-ups.

The movie follows the story of a lost alien who finds a group of four friends on Earth. These characters then help him go back to his home planet while evading a few hostile scientists.

When will Sivakarthikeyan’s Ayalaan release?

Sivakarthikeyan’s Ayalaan was released on January 12, 2024. The film faced tough competition from Dhanush’s Captain Miller and Katrina Kaif and Vijay Sethupathi’s Merry Christmas. Now, as per a report by 123telugu.com, Ayalaan will arrive on the OTT platform Sun NXT. The film’s alleged digital release date is February 16, 2024. However, no official announcement has been made on the same as of yet.

The Tamil star recently confirmed that Ayalaan will have a sequel. As per Pinkvilla, Sivakarthikeyan visited a theater to address the viewers. He then confirmed that the makers are now focused on Ayalaan 2 and there won’t be minor mistakes in the film. He said, “We know how much you liked the alien, so we will rectify our minor mistakes in the next part and give a better output.”

Watch Ayalaan in theaters now.
