At the AIR Awards, A.B. Original are up for best independent artist, best independent album or EP, best independent single (for “January 26” featuring Dan Sultan), breakthrough independent artist of the year, and best independent hip-hop album.

With a Grammy for Best Dance/Electronic Album and victory in Triple J’s Hottest 100 poll among his spoils for 2017, Flume (aka Harley Streten) will hope to add to his trophy collection with nominations for best independent artist; best independent dance/electronica album (for Skin via Future Classic); and best independent single and best independent dance, electronica or club single (for “Never Be Like You” featuring Kai).
Having collected the prestigious J Award for his debut album Utopia Defeated (Liberation/Universal) and more recently claimed the coveted APRA Song of the Year title, D.D.
