Baby Boy on the Way for Kacie Boguskie Gaston
Kacie Boguskie Gaston had someone special to celebrate on Sunday.
The Bachelor alum took to Instagram to announce she is expecting her first child with husband Rusty Gaston — and congratulate the dad-to-be on his first Father’s Day.
“Happy Fathers Day to @rustygaston! The best husband and soon to be DAD!! I can’t wait to raise our little guy together!” Boguskie Gaston, who works as a personal trainer, wrote alongside a sweet snapshot of the couple cradling her bump.
“Rusty and I are so elated to announce that we will be having a baby boy mid-September this year,” she added on her blog. “We cannot believe how beyond blessed we are and to share our experiences with y’all! Pregnancy is such an amazing a gift that is so hard to describe.” All of the emotions and daily changes that come along with it have been very much welcomed but also preparing us for parenthood.”

“My husband is my best friend and I can’t wait to share parenthood with him and to grow our family, but these months that we have left with just the two of us, we’ve wanted to enjoy each other and experience as much as we can together while we have this ‘alone time.’ Now is the time to fit in some long weekend trips, a baby moon, and just spur of the moment getaways (while we can and it’s easy),” Boguskie Gaston continues. “I know life doesn’t end when our little guy enters our lives, but just up and going won’t be quite as easy, so we’re taking advantage of it while we can.”
The mom-to-be — who first appeared on Ben Flajnik‘s season and then returned for a chance at Sean Lowe‘s heart — is 27 weeks along.
“We’re having a little boy. We’re ecstatic,” Boguskie Gastontells E! News. “I’m so happy with where I am in life. I wouldn’t want to be anyplace else.”
She adds, “I feel great! It’s been pretty easy so far. I feel pretty good.”
Boguskie Gaston, 27, and her music producer husband also used social media to announce their engagement in February 2014 before tying the knot three months later in May.
