The Bachelor's Colton Gets Rejected by Cassie Before the Fantasy Suite — So He Jumps a Fence
Bachelor Nation, the end is near.
On Monday’s episode, Colton Underwood and his final three women head to Algarve, Portugal, for the long-awaited Fantasy Suite dates — and they don’t exactly go as planned.
“Every single thing that happens in the next week, it could change our lives forever,” Cassie says.
Oh girl, you have no idea just how right you are.
DATE WITH TAYSHIA
First up is Tayshia. Staying true to their theme of being up in the sky and building trust, they get into a helicopter and spend the day exploring Portugal from above.
With a sleepover in sight, the two can’t help but spend the day cracking as many “Colton is a virgin” jokes as possible. But Tayshia seems pretty determined that by the next morning, there won’t be anymore jokes to tell (wink, wink).
“I definitely think that physical chemistry is something that needs to be explored and going into tonight, I am ready to take that next step with Colton,” she says.
She also has an accidental (totally purposeful) nip-slip at dinner — in the middle of their heartfelt conversation.
“I saw that,” Colton says with a giggle.
While discussing the important of sex (okay, even I’m sick of that word now), Tayshia reveals that she lost her virginity to her husband and that he later cheated on her. Colton says this makes him feel closer to Tayshia, knowing how highly she views intimacy in a relationship.
The two eventually head inside to their Fantasy Suite, where they promptly pop some champagne and start hardcore making out.
But sadly for Tayshia, Colton wakes up the next morning with his V-card still intact.
“We didn’t have the physical intimacy that I wanted,” Tayshia admits.

DATE WITH CASSIE
Next, Colton and Cassie spend the day walking around the town and getting to know all the best local spots — which include a lot of back alleys and outdoor staircases that are perfect for making out.
It isn’t until they sit down to share a drink that they finally discuss the elephant in the room: Cassie’s dad did not give Colton his blessing to marry her.
“I did ask him for a blessing at the end of this if we get there, for an engagement, and I didn’t get his approval,” Colton reveals.
Cassie is shocked.
“I’m so confused right now,” she says. “And you’re okay with that?”
Colton reassures Cassie that what her dad said doesn’t change how he feels about her, but she is already in tears.
“I just feel like he has no idea how confused I am,” she says off-camera. “It just makes me so, so sad.”
Things only get worse for Cassie when her dad surprises her at her hotel room. When Cassie admits to him that she isn’t sure if she’s in love with Colton, her dad all but tells her to leave.
“There shouldn’t be any hesitation in your mind when you meet somebody you want to spend the rest of your life with,” he says. “You can’t force it.”
“Don’t hesitate to follow where your heart is,” he adds. “You have to think longterm.”
After speaking with her dad, Cassie says she’s decided to send herself home because of her mixed feelings for Colton. But Colton is all in.

“Cass is the one,” he says. “I love Cassie. I want to be with Cassie. My heart is complete when I think of Cassie.”
His good mood dissipates when Cassie begins to tell him just how conflicted she is with her feelings.
“I love you so much, but I couldn’t after today, I’m not in love,” she says. “I don’t know why, after today, I’m not. I feel like I’m having doubts about it, and I don’t know.”
“I don’t know if I can get there with you,” she says.
When Colton point-blank asks Cassie if she was planning to leave that night, he breaks just about every Bachelor rule there is to convince her to stay. He basically tells her she’s the one he plans to choose at the end.
“I’m telling you, I’m okay with being patient. I don’t want to lose you,” he says. “I want to be with you. I want to be around you. I can’t stop thinking about you when I’m not with you. It’s not easy going on other dates with other women when all I do is think about you.”
He tells Cassie that it doesn’t matter if they get engaged at the end, he just wants to be with her. He says he doesn’t care if she isn’t in love with him right now, because they have longer than just being on the show to figure things out.
“This is the rest of my life. This is bigger than anything that’s going on right now,” he says. “The last thing I’m going to do is walk away from this relationship.”
“You’re over-thinking everything. Every relationship moves at a different pace,” he adds. “At the end of this, if I see a future with you and I want to spend the rest of my life with you, but our relationship isn’t ready for an engagement, then it isn’t ready for an engagement. It’s okay to take your time.”
“I care for you, I love you, I want it to be you at the end of this.”
But Cassie still decides to go home. While Colton lets her go, it’s clear that he isn’t ready to say goodbye.
“I’m not gonna stop fighting for you,” he says as she leaves.
Heartbroken, Colton heads back to his room. He’s only in there for a few minutes before he remerges and begins walking away into the darkness, ripping off his mic.
When producers notice, they call Chris Harrison to come talk to him.
Chris begins calling after Colton but it’s too late — Colton isn’t interested in talking and he JUMPS THE FENCE of the property to get away.
“He just jumped the f—— fence,” Chris says. “I have no idea where he went. We are out in the middle of nowhere.”
The episode ends with the crew trying to track him down.
“Holy s—,” Chis says. “He is gone.”
The two-hour Women Tell All special airs Tuesday at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
