Barbra Streisand opens up about stage fright during 'Carpool Karaoke'
The one and only Barbra Streisand joined James Corden on The Late Late Show for some “Carpool Karaoke,” and it’s a good thing it was just the two of them, because Babs opened up about her debilitating stage fright. “I don’t enjoy it. I get scared,” the legendary singer told James. “I just don’t want to disappoint people.”
Streisand has battled stage fright most of her career, which once led to her taking a 27-year hiatus from touring. She has worked on it over the years and told James what helps her overcome her fears: Before going onstage, she said, she tells herself, “Let go and let God.”
One thing Streisand’s definitely not afraid of is expressing her opinions about Donald Trump, especially on Twitter. Her new album, Walls, was inspired by her anger over the current administration, and the single, “Don’t Lie to Me” is aimed directly at Trump.
The Late Late Show With James Corden airs weeknights at 12:37 on CBS. Watch clips and full episodes of The Late Late Show for free on Yahoo View.
