Barron Trump Towers Over Secret Service as He's Spotted on First Day of College
Barron Trump, the youngest of Donald Trump's brood, was spotted arriving at his home for the next four years: New York University.
In new photos obtained by the New York Post, the 18-year-old, at 6-foot-7, was seen positively towering over his Secret Service detail as he exited the car.
He appeared to arrive lightly stocked for his freshman year, toting just a black Swiss Gear backpack as he headed down the sidewalk with his protectors. He wore a white polo tucked into a pair of black trousers with black and white Adidas and stood at least a head above the men surrounding him.
According to the publication, the teen went straight to the dean's office upon arrival before he was led to his classes, suggesting he's likely not living on campus. An unnamed source told the Post that he's expected to commute from Trump Tower on Fifth Avenue in Midtown each day.
It's not clear at this time what degree Barron is pursuing, nor what classes he's enrolled in, but the former president told the Daily Mail that he was specifically attending the Stern School of Business. According to the publication, Barron's dad also revealed that he's planning to keep playing soccer while studying.
"It's a very high quality place. He liked it. He liked the school," Trump told the publication. "We liked NYU. I've known NYU for a long time, but it's one of the highest rated..." he cut himself off to talk about his own Alma Mater, Wharton. "...that was certainly one that we were considering. We didn't do that. We went for Stern."
