Baton Rouge Blues Festival: What to know about parking, map, restrooms
BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) – The Baton Rouge Blues Festival returns Friday, April 19 through Sunday, April 21.
The free festival takes place in downtown Baton Rouge. Festival organizers encourage attendees to buy a pass. The pass allows them to access an open bar, gourmet food, a tented viewing area, and an indoor lounge.
This year’s festival features artists such as Grammy-winner Charlie Musselwhite and Hall of Famer Elvin Bishop. It also has Jackie Venson, Kenny Neal, and Alabaster Stag, among others. Over 20 artists and groups will be in attendance for this year’s festival.

Parking
Paid parking garages and surface parking lots are available for daily use. According to the downtown development district, street parking is free after 6 p.m. on weekdays. It is also free all weekend.
Live close enough to bike? The festival website states bikers will have free parking. It will be monitored and near the entrance on North Boulevard.

The Baton Rouge Blues Festival has four stages. They are the Visit Baton Rouge Swamp Blues Stage, the Chris Whittington Family LA1 Stage, the Front Porch Stage, and the Watermark Slim Harpo Stage.
The Visit Baton Rouge Swamp Blues Stage is located near North Boulevard at Galvez Plaza.
Chris Whittington Family LA1 Stage can be found between S. River Road and Lafayette Street in Lafayette Park.
The Front Porch Stage will be set up on St. Louis Street in Town Square.
Watermark Slim Harpo Stage is placed on 3rd Street near the Watermark Hotel.

Restrooms
Portable toilets will be scattered across downtown Baton Rouge for festival-goers to use. You can find them near the Chris Whittington Family Stage. They are also behind City Hall and the downtown library.
