‘Because I Got High’ rapper Afroman coming to Lawrence
LAWRENCE (KSNT) – Rapper and singer Joseph Foreman, better known as Afroman, is set to perform live in Lawrence in August.
Foreman is traveling across the U.S. this year on the ‘Afroman Presidential Tour’ and is due to perform at 6:30 p.m. on August 12 at The Bottleneck bar in Lawrence. Tickets are $30 in advance and $35 on the day of the show.
One of Foreman’s best-known works is the song “Because I Got High” released in 2000. It reached a peak spot of 13 on Billboard’s Hot 100 and stayed on the chart for 10 weeks.
