Best Bachelor Season: 7 Most Entertaining Bachelor Nation Stars Ranked
There have been quite a few interesting moments from the 28 seasons of The Bachelor — from Colton Underwood jumping over a fence to Jesse Palmer pulling a Ross Geller by saying the wrong woman’s name. While some of the seasons had their fair share of cringey moments, there were quite a few seasons where the guys stole our hearts.
From the most recent season with Joey Graziadei to the earlier years with Brad Womack, these are some of the best seasons of The Bachelor.
7. Season 22 with Arie Luyendyk Jr.
While Arie Luyendyk Jr. wasn’t the best Bachelor, the way his series ended makes his season one of the most interesting. He proposed to Becca Kufrin in the season finale, but it wasn’t long before he realized he still had feelings for his runner-up, Lauren Burnham. In quick succession, Arie broke up with Becca (on-camera, yikes) and chose Lauren. Despite the messy ending of his season, Luyendyk and Lauren are now happily married.
6. Season 5 with Jesse Palmer
You love him now as the host of The Bachelor, but Jesse Palmer has been stealing hearts ever since his time as the star of season 5. The former San Francisco 49ers and New York Giants quarterback ultimately chose Jessica Bowlin in the finale, but their relationship ended soon after. However, Palmer is just as beloved as he was back then as he returned to the franchise in 2021 as host.
5. Season 15 with Brad Womack
Who doesn’t love a comeback story? Brad Womack made a comeback on The Bachelor in season 15 after leaving alone in season 11. This time around, Womack found love with Emily Maynard, but the couple soon split and Emily became the next Bachelorette.
4. Season 20 with Ben Higgins
Ben Higgins was the Prince Charming of The Bachelor, winning hearts in season 20. But towards the end, Higgins found himself stuck between two women — Lauren Bushnell and JoJo Fletcher. He proposed to Lauren and the two ended up having their own reality show, but broke up not long after. Nonetheless, Higgins’ season was an entertaining one.
3. Season 13 with Jason Mesnick
Everyone loves the sweet story of a single father finding love — it makes the perfect rom com, after all. Fan favoriteJason Mesnick sure delivered in season 13. After being let go on season 4 of The Bachelorette, Mesnick came back for his own season where he proposed to Melissa Rycroft instead of Molly Malaney. But it wasn’t long before he left Melissa to pursue a relationship with now-wife, Molly.
2. Season 17 with Sean Lowe
Everyone loves a successful romance on The Bachelor and that is exactly what we got with Sean Lowe on season 17. One of the favorites from all the seasons, Lowe had an instant connection with Catherine Giudici. Though he had chemistry with a few other women, he made the right choice and has been married to Catherine for 10 years.
And the final rose goes to…
1. Season 28 with Joey Graziadei
As the most recent Bachelor, Joey Graziadei is currently one of the most talked about contestants, but all for good reasons. The season 28 star was empathetic towards all of the girls on his season (even when they were involved in drama) and listened to everything they had to say.
Graziadei said all the right things and was very intentional with his one-on-one’s. He ended his season proposing to Kelsey Anderson, who he is still with today — and they make an adorable couple. All of that is to say: Joey Graziadei is one of our favorite Bachelor’s!
