Billie Eilish Dons Etnies Sneakers While Performing at the 2025 Grammys
Billie Eilish went for a sporty style while performing at the 2025 Grammy Awards in Los Angeles on Sunday night.
For the performance, Eilish reportedly wore a pair of Etnies sneakers, which are popular for their influence in skateboarding culture. The company, which launched in 1986, regards itself as the “first skateboarder-owned and operated footwear and apparel company.” Made with a 400 NBS rubber outsole, it features an STI Comfort Level 1 insole, a breathable mesh tongue, a padded tongue and collar, a classic, flexible tread pattern and a mixture of action Leather/synthetic material. Aside from their attractive appearance and comfort, the shoes are also renowned for their affordability, retailing between $70 to $80.

The rest of her outfit included the singer wearing a blue Los Angeles Dodgers ballcap, a 1990s style yellow Rose jersey and baggy pants. Sneakers have become a common choice for celebrities not just within their casual wear, but also for performing due to their comfort, durability and support. Emily Ratajkowski is a constant sneaker wearer, being spotted in a range of different sneakers over the years. This past August, she was spotted walking her dog Colombo in the Reebok X Catalyst Premier Road Modern sneakers. The shoes were crafted with a breathable upper and a rounded rubber outsole for breathable grip and traction, made with a black/gray colorway and included black laces as a complementary feature.
Eilish, herself, has been spotted wearing the likes of Gucci, Jimmy Choo, Converse, Nike, Burberry and Balenciaga. For the Glamour Women of the Year Awards in October where she paid tribute to her mother, the “Ocean Eyes” singer once again wore a pair of black Etnies and red-orange laces. The Etnies logo can be seen on the side in blue, with the toe box featuring a stud embellishment on each shoe.
The 2025 Grammy Awards are an annual ceremony that honors the best recordings, compositions, and artists from September 16, 2023, to August 30, 2024, as chosen by the members of the Recording Academy. Trevor Noah will be the host for the fifth consecutive year, and performers include Billie Eilish, Chappell Roan, Sabrina Carpenter, Shaboozey and more.
