Billie Eilish shows nasty bruise after tripping down stairs during concert
Billie Eilish is giving fans a look at her nasty bruise after hitting her leg hard, not soft.
The "Birds of a Feather" singer, 22, shared a video on her Instagram story on Tuesday that showed her falling on a set of stairs during a recent concert at Madison Square Garden as part of her Hit Me Hard and Soft tour.
In the clip, Eilish is seen descending the stairs while waving to the crowd, but after she begins to increase her pace, she trips and falls forward. The pop star posted the clip on Instagram along with a skull emjoi.
She followed the video up with a photo showing a large bruise on her thigh. "But literally," Eilish wrote.
Eilish is currently on tour for her third studio album "Hit Me Hard and Soft," which dropped in May. She performed a series of shows at New York's Madison Square Garden on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.
Eilish's tumble came after another concert incident recently made headlines. Footage shared on social media showed Olivia Rodrigo, 21, falling through a trapdoor while performing on her Guts World Tour in Melbourne, Australia. Rodrigo was seen running before she fell through the hole in the stage, but she quickly pulled herself back up.

"Oh my God, that was fun," she quipped. "I'm OK. Sometimes there's just a hole in the stage. That's all right. OK. Where was I? How are you doing tonight, Melbourne?"

It was unclear why the trapdoor was open during that moment of Rodrigo's concert.
Earlier this year, Madonna also took a tumble on her Celebration tour when a dancer who was dragging her in a chair slipped, causing them both to fall during a performance of "Open Your Heart." After staying on the ground for a moment, the "Like a Virgin" singer, 66, laughed off the mishap and kept the show going.
Eilish is next set to take her Hit Me Hard and Soft tour to Atlanta for a pair of shows on Nov. 2 and 3.
