Bindi Irwin’s Adorable Then-And-Now Photos of Daughter Grace Has Everyone Calling Her a ‘Mini Bindi’

With her wild upbringing and adorable smile, Bindi Irwin’s daughter Grace Warrior is the cutest toddler ever. In the words of the late Steve Irwin, she’s a little beauty! And now, people say the 3-year-old looks just like her mama. The Australia Zoo CEO shared super cute then-and-now photos of her daughter Grace, and fans are calling her a “mini Bindi.”

“Three years between these two photos. ??” Bindi captioned the post on Instagram Thursday. “My. Heart.” Our hearts can’t take the cuteness either! In the first photo, a baby Grace sits on a tiny camping chair outside when she was about five or six months old. Grace’s dad Chandler Powell sits on one side and her uncle Robert Irwin sits on the other, both in adult-sized camping chairs. The two men are wearing khaki as they smile outside in the middle of a forest scene, and Grace is smiling barefoot in a little white romper and matching bow. She is barefoot, with her tiny toes curled up underneath her. Oh my goodness is she cute!

Fast-forward to now, and Grace (and her chair!) have gotten much bigger. In the second photo, Robert and Powell resume their spots on either side of Grace, in the same forest scene. Except this time, Grace is a toddler in an even bigger camping chair, although it’s still not as big as her dad’s and uncle’s. She’s wearing tan pants, brown hiking boots, and a green-and-tan shirt for the cute picture. Her curly brown hair is pulled away from her face as she beams at the camera. Grace looks totally content and happy next to her family. And, wow — kids really do grow up right in front of your eyes, don’t they?!

“Australias royal family ??” one person sweetly commented. Another wrote, “Love how both father and uncle are leaning toward Grace. They’re her loving protectors.??”

Others couldn’t help but notice how much Grace looks like her mama. Like one person, who said, “I’m sorry chandler but she looks JUST like baby bindi im gonna SOB.” (I’m sure he doesn’t mind one bit!) Another said, “mini bindi??One person commented, “She is IDENTICAL to you Bindi.”

Bindi often shares childhood photos and videos, which prove even more how much Grace looks like her. In April, she posted about taking her daughter to Tasmania, which actually fulfilled a childhood dream of hers. She shared a video montage taken by her mom Terri Irwin when they hiked up a gorgeous mountain trail. “It was the best walk and absolutely beautiful. I can now die happy,” a young Bindi said in the throwback clip, adding, “One day I’ll be able to take my kids up there and show them. So, thank you, Mom.”

That dream came true, as the video shows Bindi going on the same hike with her toddler daughter and “splashing in the stream” together. Our hearts can’t take it!

Even though Steve died long before Grace was born, we know he would be proud of her. In a May interview with Us Weekly, Terri shared an insight into their life together before kids. “He would actually go [and] stare [into the fire,]” Terri recalled. “And [one day] he came in and he goes, ‘We have to have children. Who are we going to leave this all to? We have to have children.’ And I go, ‘Just because you have kids, doesn’t mean they’re going to be interested in what you’re doing.’”

“And he goes, ‘No, we’re having children and they’re going to love wildlife and conservation,’” she added. And now his granddaughter carries that same love of wildlife and conservation in her heart, too.
