Blake Lively Is a Work of Art in Painted Floral Dauphinette Leather While Promoting ‘It Ends With Us’ in New York
Blake Lively put an edgy spin on florals on Monday while promoting her upcoming film “It Ends With Us” in New York.
The actress selected two painted floral leather looks by the indie label Dauphinette. She first exited “CBS Mornings” in a cropped leather jacket and matching shorts, which she paired with beaded Christian Louboutin sandals and large stud earrings.

Later in the day, Lively changed into a similar look for an appearance on “Access Hollywood,” replacing her shorts with a pencil skirt and adding on a floral tank. She paired both items with the same cropped jacket and jeweled footwear.
“The way that I get into a character is through their style, so it was more about who Lily is that was so fascinating to me,” Lively said of her latest role. “She’s a walking, talking contradiction yet it’s perfectly harmonious for her. She loves old, tarnished, vintage, beaten-up things but she also loves flashy, new sparkly things….Seeing that she can be a person of multitudes was so compelling to me, and her journey is that.”
Hairdresser Jennifer Yepez styled the “Gossip Girl” star’s dirty blond tresses in waves, while Lively’s makeup consisted of brown eyeliner and pink lipstick.
Founded by Olivia Cheng in 2018, Dauphinette melds fantasy with sustainable fashion. Her designs, predominantly made from recycled or vintage materials, have been worn by the likes of Julia Fox, Sydney Sweeney and musician-author Michelle Zauner.
Based on the novel by Colleen Hoover, the film adaptation of “It Ends With Us,” out on Friday, costars Justin Baldoni, Hasan Minhaj and Jenny Slate. The romantic drama is also directed by Baldoni, who is best known for his roles in “Jane the Virgin” and “The Bold and the Beautiful.”
