Bon Iver will perform at Kamala Harris' presidential campaign rally in Eau Claire

Kamala Harris will have another special guest at her Eau Claire rally Wednesday besides her soon-to-be-named running mate: Bon Iver.

The Grammy-winning group led by Eau Claire born-and-based singer-songwriter Justin Vernon will perform at the vice president’s rally; Billboard first reported, with the Harris campaign confirming via a press release Monday morning.

It’s the latest example of a major musician appearing at one of Harris’ first rallies since replacing President Joe Biden as the Democratic nominee for president. Megan Thee Stallion performed at a rally in Atlanta last week.

Vernon is no stranger to politics. He spearheaded the For Wisconsin voting initiative that launched in 2020.
