Former boy band stars Joey Fatone (*NSYNC) and AJ McLean (Backstreet Boys) have teamed up for a tour that will come to Mershon Auditorium on June 14.

Joey Fatone and AJ McLean, who boast numerous big hits between them as members of the '90s two most popular boy bands — *NSYNC and Backstreet Boys, respectively — are promising "A Legendary Night" when they bring their tour by that name to Mershon Auditorium on June 14.

Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday at ticketmaster.com.

Originally intended as a limited-city run, Fatone and McLean's tour was expanded due to popular demand — nearly half of the initially scheduled concerts have sold out. Twenty cities including Columbus and Dayton were added.

Despite their short time together (1998-2002), *NSYNC held the record for most albums sold in one week for 15 years for their sophomore release, "No Strings Attached," which sold 2.42 million copies the week of March 21, 2000. The group's hits include "Bye, Bye, Bye," "Tearin' Up My Heart" and "It's Gonna Be Me."

Backstreet Boys. the highest-selling boy band of all time with 130 million records sold. Formed in 1993, the band is known for such hits as "Larger than Life," "I Want it That Way," "Everybody (Backstreet's Back)," "Quit Playing Games (With My Heart)," and "As Long As You Love Me."
