This breakout country star will be Akins Ford Arena's second concert—And she's a UGA grad

Attention all country music fans in Athens! Megan Moroney is set to bring her "Am I Okay?" Tour to Akins Ford Arena on April 4, 2025, at 8 p.m.

Moroney graduated from the University of Georgia in 2020, before moving to Nashville to make her dreams come true. Now, she's headed back to Athens.

This marks the second concert at Akins Ford Arena, located at 300 N. Thomas St., following the B-52's performance coming up in December.

This tour celebrates her critically acclaimed sophomore album, which debuted at No. 9 on the Billboard 200 and is the third-biggest debut of the year by a female county artist.

Tickets go on sale on Friday, with presale access starting on Thursday at noon. Club Seat Access will also be available starting Thursday at 11 a.m.

Workers are concluding construction on Akins Ford Arena, which is set debut on Dec. 6 for the Rock Lobsters home opener. It is an 8,500 seat arena for concerts and events, and 5,500 for hockey.
