Brewers vs. Royals game on May 12 will be on Apple TV+, not cable, and it won't be free
The Milwaukee Brewers make their 2023 debut on Apple TV+'s "Friday Night Baseball" this week.
Unlike last year when games were on Apple TV+, you'll have to be a subscriber to the streaming service to watch this year. Friday night's game will not air on the Brewers' regular television outlet, Bally Sports Wisconsin.
The May 12 game against the Kansas City Royals at American Family Field is the first of four Brewers games that will air on Apple TV+ through June 30.
How you can watch Milwaukee Brewers games on Apple TV+
You can only watch games on Apple TV+ via the Apple TV app. You can watch it on the app on iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple TV 4K and Apple TV HD, smart TVs, streaming devices, cable set-top boxes and on tv.apple.com.
If you're not already an Apple TV+ subscriber, it'll cost you $6.99 a month to sign up, with a seven-day free trial.
Last year, the first year of Major League Baseball's deal with Apple, the games were free to stream on the Apple TV app.
Which Milwaukee Brewers games are on Apple TV+ in the 2023 season?
In addition to the 7 p.m. May 12 game against the Royals, the Brewers are on Apple TV+:
June 2, at the Cincinnati Reds, 4 p.m.
June 16, at home vs. the Pittsburgh Pirates, 7 p.m.
June 30, at Pittsburgh, 6 p.m.
